This spot has earned our #1 pick for a host of unique and delicious reasons. First off, the food is to die for! I read the menu and was a bit confused to say the least, but I pushed ahead and ordered the item that seemed the least familiar to me, the Pork shoulder. I stupidly assumed that if the description had words that I did not understand that I would not understand the flavors and boy was I wrong! This was by far the most beautiful tasting meal I have ever eaten. It was like Yo-Yo Ma in my mouth, complex and simple, genius and totally unpretentious. Aside from the eats, the mood/ ambiance could romance the undies off of Mother Theresa. Maybe it is the gorgeous view of Portland or the tiny candles dimly lighting a perfectly designed interior or the cozy booth seating that places you just close enough to your companion for there to be a bit of physical tension and far enough apart for a real conversation. This spot also boasts its own roof-top garden that is available to tour on Tuesdays @ 5pm,

Portland Towncar and Limo has been recommending our customers to this restaurant for a few years now, our customers always give us rave reviews on the food the service and everything in between. The View Point Inn is one of the many treasures that Oregon has to offer. Aside from the delicious eats, the location itself is certainly a sight to behold.
The View Point Inn is just 22 miles from downtown Portland, Oregon, near Crown Point, nestled high on a one acre bluff, with a panoramic view of the entire Columbia River Gorge, the city lights of Portland, and Vancouver.
This 1924 world class boutique hotel and fine dining restaurant serves lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. The Inn has celebrated Presidents, Hollywood Motion Picture Stars and European Royalty and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Available for banquets, private parties, weddings and special events.

The best Thai food you will ever eat! Chef Bo uses only the freshest, most high quality ingredients and you can taste the difference.
From humble beginnings on Northwest 23rd, Chef Bo Kline and Typhoon! have become icons of the Northwest food scene. Blending classic Thai hospitality with contemporary style, Bo's unique menu is inspired by the pushcarts of the peasants and the palaces of her native Thailand. The perfect balance of bitter, sweet, salty and sour flavors will burst in your mouth as you savor her repertoire, which includes traditional favorites, rediscovered dishes lost in time and cutting-edge nouvelle Thai cuisine. Lauded by Bon Appetit as one of "the hottest chefs in America" and praised in rave reviews throughout the nation. Bo keeps the publicity in clear perspective. "The most important meal we serve is yours," she says. "Each night the entire staff knows the only review that counts is yours."

Mouthwatering food, a full bar and yummy seasonal desserts Melt has it all. Opened in 2009 by long time Oregon restaurateur Nick Medici, this place has Portland written all over it. If you are looking for great food, reasonable prices, a down to earth atmosphere and a super hip location to browse after your meal, this is the place to be. I would recommend the pulled pork sandwich for $8.50. They also offer take out.

Wildwood is one of our favorites because they really stay true to the concept of keeping it local and seasonal, the menu changes with the seasons and the food and wines from start to finish, scream Pacific Northwest! They are proud of their commitment to support all of amazing famers, cheese makers and wineries in the area, as they should. Wildwood exemplifies what it is to be a “Localvore”. This is a great place to come if you are visiting the area for a truly extraordinary night out.

Bathed in everything Moroccan, Marrakesh is an exiting alternative to your average evening out. Seated on gorgeously decorated pillows you will eat your way to another world. This is perfect for a group dinner or a fun date night with someone special. Eat with your hands, watch the belly dancers, and enjoy all of the interesting flavors Morocco has to offer at Marrakesh. Marrakesh is not just a Moroccan restaurant; it is a full Moroccan experience!

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Portland. Three Doors Down Italian Cafe in Portland welcomes patrons with a cozy, comfortable dining area and the sweet smells of authentic Italian food welcome you as soon as you enter so, get cozy. In Portland, Italian restaurants aren't hard to come by, but 3 Doors Down Cafe is a step above. This is the perfect place for upscale food and drinks in a casual atmosphere. Our customers have given great reviews for Three Doors Down, they have also been mentioned by many different Portland food critics including the Portland Mercury.

Whether you drop in for a meal or stop by for a brew at the BridgePort BrewPub in the heart of Portland’s Pearl District, you are sure to have a great dining experience. While so much has changed in this Historic Landmark Building (The Portland Cordage Company Building), you’ll find a comfortable and familiar atmosphere, paring rustic brick, aged timber, classic iron, great food and great beer!
This place boasts its very own bakery that certainly knows what its doing, yummy artisan bread baked everyday to perfection.
***BABIES, TOTS and YOUNG CHILDREN***
The Portland Children's Museum, this spot is number one because it is a hit no matter what the weather throws at us in Portland, i.e. it's indoors. You can spend hours upon hours here with the kids exploring everything from painting, sculpting and other crafts to hanging out by the train set!
Check out their site for more details, The Portland Children's Museum also has birthday Party facilities at reasonable prices.

OMSI, The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is one of our favorites because it caters to all age groups, from the ball room to the sailboat making and racing area to the amazing exhibits you are sure to spend more time here than you expected. I have many fond memories of going to OMSI as a child and it has become my personal favorite place to take my kids for a lot of science. Exploration and laughter!
Be sure to check out there website for hours and of course, all of there new and upcoming exhibits and attractions, OMSI is also indoors.

The Oregon Zoo, Lions and Tigers and Bears YOOHOO! Of course, the Zoo is always fun for the family but, The Oregon Zoo usually has a really interesting and educational exhibit or show to attend. Check out their site for dates and time for these shows. Be sure to hit up the Lorikeet exhibit, I believe its $1 to get a little paper cup of sugar water and enter the exhibit where oodles and oodles of beautiful birds perch themselves onto your arms (and head, in my experience) and drink your sugar water. It is an easy exhibit to miss so be sure to keep a look out for it on your Zoo map.
TIP: Leave your stroller in the car and get a Safari stroller or wagon for your little ones, the kids think it’s pretty cool and that way if it starts to rain, at least they won’t get soaked. The Zoo is a lot of walking for the little ones and this is a great little break for the tired legs.

Café Sip and Play is in Vancouver Washington, it’s the perfect place to relax and have a semi uninterrupted conversation with your husband or girlfriends while the kids play. Also, if you are looking to meet some new buds, for the kids or for yourself, this is the spot. Yummy treats and drinks for all ages. Check out their site for hours and special activities. A great perk to Café Sip and Play is that they have figured out how to balance perfectly catering to the child and to the parent from the menus to the bathroom stocked with extra diapers, wipes and a mini toilet and sink.
